M-Audio BX4 Studio Monitors – 4.5 ” 120W is a 2-way, studio monitor designed to offer a wide frequency response and easy configuration for producers, podcast creators, mixing engineers, and others who require a critical ear. The M-Audio BX4 Studio Monitors – 4.5 ” 120W produces a frequency response of 69 Hz to 22 kHz, thanks to two amplifiers feeding a 4.5” Kevlar woofer and 1” silk-dome tweeter.

A rear-mounted bass port delivers the extended bass response, while the tweeter’s computer-engineered waveguide yields a wide sweet spot and minimized high-frequency scatter. Volume and high- and low-frequency controls are provided, so you can tune the monitor to cooperate with the sound of the room.

The monitors have both RCA and balanced 1/4″ jacks, so you have your choice of what kind of device you input into the speakers.

One monitor houses the power and controls, distributing power to the other by means of an included 3.5mm TS interconnect cable. Choose which monitor is on the left and which is on the right, ensuring everything is playing back correctly by means of L/R switches on the rear.

If you want to monitor privately, you can do so via the front-mounted 3.5mm headphones output with volume control. Also, plug in your favorite compatible media player by means of the 3.5mm auxiliary input. Thoughtful Construction

The two-way design features an acoustically inert MDF cabinet with a bass reflex that provides smooth low end and punch through the black Kevlar low-frequency drivers. Plus, enhanced rear ports add extended low-frequency response, which makes any video game, movie, or song you play sound full and rich.
The computer-optimized natural silk-dome tweeters ensure you hear all the high-end frequencies and provide precise stereo imaging.

Controls

The rear-panel connections offer 1/4″ and RCA inputs making them compatible with all your gear.
There is an 3.5mm aux input and headphones connections cleverly placed on the front of the speaker for your tablet, computer, or mobile device. These connections allow you to work privately and are ideal for reproducing any type of media.

Sound-Shaping Tools

High and low EQ controls help you dial in the perfect sound for your environment and let you customize the sound of the M-Audio BX4 Studio Monitors – 4.5 ” 120W. The left/right active speaker position switch lets you choose which speaker is on the left or right side.
This is very useful if you are left-handed and want the speaker with the front panel volume control on your left side.
